Prevent Cavities before they Start

Dr Wong strongly believes in preventative dentistry as the best possible means of maintaining a health mouth. Proper oral hygiene can help reduce your chances of developing oral diseases such as tooth decay, gum disease or periodontal disease. Our goal is to prevent these diseases from happening in the first place or at the very least catch these problems in their early stages when they are easier and less expensive to treat.

Home Care Instructions

A customized home care plan will be discussed during your routine check-ups and cleanings based upon dental needs. Most home care plans will include brushing at least 2 times per day and flossing at least once per day. Mouthwash and waterpik use is a great adjunct to brushing and flossing but they do not act as a replacement.

Two Dental Visits per Year

We typically recommend routine preventative dental care visits two times per year. These visits include a comprehensive cleaning and oral examination. We will screen for tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancer, and other oral health problems. It is also a great chance to answer any questions you might have concerning your oral health.
